About Mike

I was born and raised in Valley Stream, NY. I currently live in Lynbrook, NY and work in the corporate finance department at an asset management firm in Manhattan. I grew up following in the footsteps of my father and two older brothers who are dedicated hunters themselves. Before I was old enough to hunt, I can remember watching videos of deer and turkeys that my brothers would bring home waiting for the day that I would be old enough to tag along with them. I love hunting whitetails, turkeys, waterfowl, and spend as much time in the outdoors pursuing that passion as work will allow. I primarily hunt in Green County, NY and have recently gotten into suburban hunting on Long Island. I started hunting in 1996, took my first deer with a bow in 1997 and have been addicted ever since. My passion has recently transformed from strictly hunting, to the sport of filming hunts with my brothers and close friends. For me, there is nothing better than sitting in a stand with a family member or friend, sharing the excitement of each trip to the field. Hunting has helped my brothers and I form such an unbreakable bond that words just can't describe. I love having the opportunity to pursue whitetails but for me sharing a hunting camp with my family and close friends is what really gets me excited season after season. The thing I'm most grateful for is that fact that our father introduced us to hunting at such a young age and has been there with us to share in each and every hunting memory ever since.

About John

I was born and raised in Valley Stream, NY and currently live in East Rockaway, NY. Ever since I was a little boy I have had a passion for the outdoors. I spent most if not all of my weekends in the summer, spring, and fall upstate in Greene County, NY. There I spent hours upon hours in the woods trying to track and learn the ways of any animal that I could find. As I grew up my father took me hunting with him and after the first time we went out I was hooked for life. He and I setup in some hemlocks on my uncles farm and saw about 20 deer that first afternoon. None of them were shooters but it didn't matter to me. After that day I spent every waking minute thinking about the outdoors and I read every hunting magazine I could get my hands on, trying to learn as much as possible. Since then I have grown to love the sport of bow hunting. I also hunt during the rifle season but there is nothing like being twenty feet up in my stand with my bow at the ready with hopes of a nice buck or mature doe coming in to range. Recently we have started filming hunts which definitely makes it more challenging. With two people in the tree, every detail becomes critical to our success. The best part for me is that it becomes much more enjoyable sharing my hunting adventures with the other members of Rubino Films. Over the next few years my goal is to continue to grow as a hunter and videographer as well as to improve on the quality of our videos. Most importantly I will continue to do what I love which is spending almost every free moment in the outdoors with friends and family.

About Joe

I was born and raised in Valley Stream, NY. I work for medical malpractice insurance company based in NY and love my job. What I love most about it is all the time off I get for hunting! From age five I had such a love of hunting to the point that I would wear my black and red checkered vest and shoot stuffed animals in my basement with a toy gun when my father was away hunting. If I wasn't playing hunting, I was out fishing with my father. Today, I currently enjoy being in the woods with my bow or gun chasing whitetails. Whitetails are my passion but I also enjoy hunting small game, predators, turkeys and plan on trying my hand at duck hunting one day soon. I spend the summer months on our website and forum talking to fellow hunters, planting food plots, setting up ground blinds and hanging stands with the other pro staff members. In 2009, I took my biggest buck to date with my 30-06 rifle. I enjoy seeing it on the wall every night when I come home, my goal is to one day have a game room with a bar and all my trophies on the walls. I can still remember my first day in the woods with my father sitting against a stone wall waiting for a buck to come, while eating tons of candy. Since then, the passion has never gone away and never will. There's nothing like sitting in the woods on a cold quiet morning watching the sun rise with anticipation that a big buck could walk by at any minute.

About Joe Sr.

Joe has been hunting and fishing since a very early age and has caught many deer, rabbits and fish in his time.  In a way, he gave birth to Rubino Films.  His love of the outdoors was passed down to his three sons who love the outdoors just as much, if not more.  He passed on his knowledge, hunting magazines, hunting albums and skills for hunting trophy deer down to his sons who in turn took their love of the outdoors and turned it into Rubino Films.  Today we have one person to thank for that - "Pops".  These days, they still hunt together and enjoy the outdoors together every minute they can and love chasing big bucks and hanging out at camp together.

I am 35 years old and live in Green County, NY. I have been hunting for the last twenty years. Ever since I was a young kid I have been surrounded by many hunters in my family and blessed with my uncles beautiful 300 acre farm to hunt on in the Catskill Mountains. My passion for the sport grows more intense with each new season. Since Rubino Films was founded in 2006 my interest in capturing the illusive whitetail on film has grown immensely. I find the amount of time the other team members and I dedicate each season in order to be successful to be extremely rewarding. I feel honored to have the opportunity to share my outdoor experiences at Rubino Films with my fellow hunters. My mission has been and will continue to be to share my love of hunting in New York or wherever it may occur with the other hunters in the North East.

About Pat

I am 45 years old and currently live in the town of Greenville in Orange County NY. I am recently retired NYC police officer, after 20 years of service. Hunting mature whitetails has become an obsession for me in recent years. I started bow hunting at the age of 14. I did not shoot my first deer with a bow until I was 18. My father introduced me to bow hunting at an early age and I was hooked for life! When I was younger, my father used to take me to a bow only hunting park located in NY. The funny thing is that with all the places I have to hunt in New York State, I still get my best trail cam photos of mature bucks in that Park. I first picked up a video camera back in 1987 and started video taping my hunts. I used to just enjoy video taping what I saw and bringing it home for my family to watch. The first time I recorded a kill was back in 1991, when I captured my friend shooting a buck with his bow. Today I currently enjoy getting outdoors as much as possible. I have a beautiful wife and two wonderful children that understand my desire for the outdoors and fully support me. I am a trail camera addict and I am always looking at the latest and greatest high tech stuff, when it comes to hunting. I plan on getting into wireless trail cams in the near future. Now that I will have more free time, I pray that God blesses me with the health and knowledge I need to pursue mature whitetails. I plan on attending a video school next year for hunting so I can become more proficient at video taping my hunts. It's not always about getting a deer, for me it's about being out there with your family and friends and enjoying the Great Outdoors that the Lord has blessed us with.

About Charlie

I'm a 38 years old Whitetail-aholic. I live in Greenville, NY; have two beautiful daughters and a very patient wife. I own a plumbing and heating contracting company and for the most part like what I do, except when it cuts into my hunting time. My obsession for deer hunting started probably when I was conceived, it must be genetic. My great grandfather and grandfather on my Mother's side were deer hunters, neither of which I really ever knew. I never had anyone to take me deer hunting as a kid but always had the interest. When friends would tell me stories about their hunting experiences with their Dads, I wanted to go so bad! I got into small game hunting when I was fourteen years old. I went on my first deer hunting trip at age eighteen in Delaware County, New York. I shot my first buck that year with a rifle; it was a small six pointer. It was purely a case of dumb luck, but ever since I have been hooked. I then began bowhunting so I could get more time in the woods. I grew up on Long Island in a bow only area. I moved to Upstate New York eight years ago so I could enjoy hunting on my own property and just walk out my back door and into the woods. Now my pursuit of whitetails has become a year round affair, when I'm not hunting them I am scouting and improving habitat. I enjoy everything outdoors from fishing, hiking, kayaking, quad riding and camping, but deer hunting takes the cake. I just love being out there!
