Post What are you seeing out there?
What are you guys seeing out there? Any seeking, chasing, breeding? What do they seem to be feeding on? I Saw a few does yesterday morning and this afternoon about 5:30 I had one of the bucks I have been hoping to see at 65 yards. My buddy had him at 35 but didnt have a clear shot. It was great to see a good buck in plenty of light. I got pictures of this buck last year and this year. Here is a good picture my buddy got with his trail cam and also the picture from last year I got.

Sounds like you had a great afternoon cbeck. we didnt see one deer from the stand this whole weekend which was kind of dissapointing. Had one stand right over an apple tree where we got some good pics two weeks ago but nothing showed up this weekend. O well there is always next weekend. Im heading up to chenango county next weekend to my friends place to do some self filming and try and take down one of the big bucks he has running around up there.

I wish I lived in a place and had the kind of job that gave me an opportunity to hunt before work. I can't wait to get back in the stand this weekend. Charlie I heard you saw a nice one yesterday morn, got to be nice knowing he is passing by your stand during daylight hours.

This weekend was the best hunting weekend of my life! I saw so many bucks that I was starting to lose count. I will post my story and photos.

Little 8 pointer I shot on this evening sit. Mathews Z7 Xtreme, 62 pounds, 25.5 Inch DL. G5 Montec's tipping Beman ICS 400 Hunters. Shot from 22 yards breaking right shoulder and popping both lungs. Deer fell at shot and ran 25 yards where he bled out. Not the biggest and not the smallest buck I ever shot, but he was hunted hard and well earned, so to the wall of fame he goes.
