They use a long screw through plaque into base of skull. I think only one.

Got my Iowa buck back from the taxidermist. It came out incredible! I couldnt stop looking at it. Makes my other mounts look so much smaller. The pictures really dont do it any justice......

Pictures make it look huge I can’t even imagine what it looks like in person. I like the mount that you picked.

I am still in disbelief! Its truly is unreal in person! I look at it all the time..... sometimes I even make special trips downstairs just to glare..... its crazy. It makes everything else look so small in comparison.

You might have a tough time topping that one.

Mike, I will probably never top it, but it doesnt matter...... I still cant wait to chase around 115" deer here in N.Y. this year!!! If there is ONE deer out there like lefty It will be more than enough to keep me out there for long cold days on stand. I just love it.

That is one heck of a beautiful animal you got there Charlie. I now how you feel about looking at them. Sometimes I just sit in the trophy room and look at all my mounts and let my mind drift to the memories of the hunts and the fun I have had during those hunts. I should be getting my ten pointer from last year back soon and I can;t wait to put that deer on the wall downstairs, I already have the spot for him and he is getting the same semi sneak on the left look. that deer grossed 136ish and I thought that would be my biggest but this year I have some slammers starting to show up all over the place, so I will keep my fingers crossed and hope it pans out.

But back to your mount, Three words, "HUGE BUCK DOWN", great mount, thanks for sharing it.
